Battlefield 3: Barrett M98B Sniper Gameplay [EXCLUSIVE] [BETA]
L96A1 Q Presents gameplay from the BF3 beta using the M98 Sniper Rifle, unlocked after the M40A5 in the Recon class. (XBOX 360 LIVE GAMEPLAY) After 12 Hours of in-game play time, I was able to unlock this rifle. All I can say is I’m impressed compared the the other bolt actions, and can’t wait to unlock the M82A1 (Semi-Auto Barrett .50 cal)

@RogueFC yeah u dont wanna run into me while i have my mk11,i usually use acog forgrip and supp. its my baby.all i used in badcomp2 was m14 so this is the upgrade

@nolifeguy1 All of the bolt action sniper rifles are a one shot hit if the target is jogging/sprinting. This is especially useful for spawn camping because everyone runs from spawn, and if your decent……also rape sauce XD. Its almost like dice is rewarding us for being able to hit a moving target….awesome btw. The M98B fires a higher velocity bullet and does more damage which is why I use it. Yes, the MK 11 Mod 0 with an ACOG and a decent player = absolute ownage in close/medium range.

@BrawnyLion i think in BF3 is the M98B a .308 rifle and the M95 is the .50 cal anyways good game and good Guns: D i love the .50 cal Head Shot Sound: D have a nice day

@LuckyUnited Means you’ve been playing COD and heard the wrong sounds for a sniper rifle ( not saying that BF3 is accurate ) but BF3 is accurate :O
Why does it always involve Russians against US i mean how bout like the Iraq’s or taleban terrorists in the desert? but yeah its a game and since Russians are on Par in Military as US it would be more fair in a game like both countries have notable and good air force proper own made guns… but still i want a Desert Storm DLC ;D
@RogueFC Also considering that there will be hardcore mode. Dice mentioned that Hardcore in bf 3 will be a lot more Hardcore than BC 2′s Hardcore Mode. This means that guns will be of a more realistic damage level. Thank god for this, because I can not stand the damage system on BF 3. Its like what 4 – 5 bullets to kill someone with an M416 lol and up to 2 shots with the SV98 and the M40A1 Sniper rifles. Its ridiculous. Aldo plus the lag to make shit even worse.
@TheyCallMeMoney420 hope so
pple who say disarm are stupid and should re-watch the video, it shows him sniping when he is notified of the charge set at B. then the video cuts to him battling it out near the just destroyed B target. this tells me he DID try and disarm but lost the one objective. then the vid switches to him on attack so his objective is to arm not DISarm
